The Benevon Logo

The Benevon logo is based on the 1970 and 1971 Indian 10 Rupee and 20 Paise coins, minted to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The image and its elements (the sun, lotus flower, and grain) reflect the organic, abundance-based philosophy of the Benevon Model.

The sun represents the source of life in many cultures and times. CoinSun.gif:
CoinLotusFlower.gif: The lotus flower (traditionally a symbol of prosperity), growing in mud at the bottom of a pond and then raising itself above the water to reveal its beauty, represents the soul rising from the confusion of matter into the clarity of enlightenment.
Lastly, the grain, a symbol of controlled nature, represents the human soul, which, like grain, must be cared for and cultivated. CoinWheat.gif:
